Meals on Wheels, Bluffton-Hilton Head awarded grant

Long Cove Club Community Charitable Fund of the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry recently awarded a grant to support Meals on Wheels, Bluffton-Hilton Head's meal and socialization program. This grant is extremely important since meal costs have far exceeded our expectations.

"Local community support is critical to our ability to meet the needs of our clients," said Lili Coleman, executive director. "Due to the unprecedent growth in our area we now have a wait list to receive meals."

Meals on Wheels chapters across the country are facing growth due to the aging population. Meals on Wheels, Bluffton-Hilton Head is proud to be a United Way Agency and a member of Meals on Wheels, America.
