Dear Lowcountry Business,
Five days a week we deliver hot, nutritious meals to those in our community who are homebound, elderly, or ill. We currently average about 1,000 meals per week, PLUS an additional frozen meal to get our neighbors-in-need through at least one weekend meal. Our all-volunteer drivers deliver to those in need 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year, even on holidays, during evacuations, and through quarantines. We service all of Hilton Head and Bluffton, and we do so without any government funding. We rely solely on grants from the community, individual contributions, and sponsorships from businesses like you.
Your sponsorship can help to change many lives here in the Lowcountry!
Partnering with Meals on Wheels as a Corporate Sponsor is a great way to show your civic pride and community spirit while positioning your brand as a leader in charitable work. By taking part in our Adopt-a-Route program you will be providing valuable assistance to our Lowcountry community, and engaging your business directly with our clients and our 200+ local volunteers.
Our Adopt-a-Route program gives your company the opportunity to sponsor one of our meal delivery routes, bringing hundreds of meals to our at-risk residents in Bluffton and Hilton Head. For as little as $750, you can adopt a route for six months; $1,500 you can adopt a route for an entire year. Corporate sponsorship has the unique advantage of creating opportunities on a larger scale and enables us to further extend our reach in our efforts to help those in our community in need of assistance. Without these generous contributions many of our most vulnerable residents would not be able to afford the food and help that we provide them. However you choose to Adopt-a-Route, we will acknowledge your company on each meal delivered on your adopted route, as well as provide shout-outs on our website and social media platforms.
Please consider helping us feed those who need us by “Adopting a Route”. We are committed to being good stewards of your generous donation, by helping those who cannot provide for themselves.
With sincerest thanks from all of us on the Board,
Joe Scalzo, Board Chair
