Meals on Wheels, Bluffton-Hilton Head receives grant from the Colleton River Charitable Fund

Meals on Wheels, Bluffton-Hilton Head proudly announces they are a recipient of a grant from the Colleton River Charitable Fund 2024. The funding helps cover the cost of meals for over 300 clients.

“We sincerely appreciate this grant that comes during a critical time of the year,” said Lili Coleman, executive director. “Requests for meals continues to grow and we are reaching a point where funding is very critical to meet the needs of our local community.”

Meals on Wheels, locally, has seen a growth of over 207 percent in the past two years. “We receive no federal or state funding and all donations and grants received locally supports meals for seniors in our community,” said Coleman.
